We won the fight over the titling tax in the regular session of the General Assembly. Now, after a more than five year struggle, we again face a new challenge. An increase to the titling tax is again on the table.

Taxes & Fees

On February 29th, the Virginia Supreme Court found the regional transportation fees imposed in Northern Virginia on January 1 are unconstitutional.
We have been notified by DMV that the fees are no longer to be collected as of Saturday, March 1st. You should stop collecting ALL NVTA fees immediately. Any fees collected in error should be returned to the customer.
